Job Descriptions

  • Assist with patient registration, identity checks, paperwork and pre-consultation preparation.
  • Perform and document vital signs and basic health assessments, such as height, weight, body composition and blood pressure.
  • Support blood collection and specimen handling within approved training and scope of practice.
  • Label, record, store and prepare specimens for laboratory collection, including temperature-sensitive and time-sensitive samples.
  • Liaise with external laboratories regarding test requests, specimen collection, turnaround times and results.
  • Monitor pending test results, follow up on delays and ensure completed results reach the doctor promptly.
  • Prepare, clean and reset consultation and treatment rooms, including equipment, linen and supplies.
  • Assist doctors and nurses with clinical procedures within the permitted scope.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and maintain required logs for point-of-care devices.
  • Manage clinical inventory, including stock levels, expiry dates and stock rotation.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, logbooks and documentation in the clinic system.
  • Follow hygiene, infection-control, sharps disposal and clinical-waste management procedures.
  • Coordinate with the front desk to maintain smooth patient flow, room availability and appointment timing.

Ad Hoc / Additional Duties

  • Support offsite health screenings and corporate health events.
  • Assist with implementation and onboarding of new point-of-care equipment.
  • Provide front-desk registration support during busy periods.
  • Assist with stock counts, audits and inspection preparation.
  • Help collect and compile operational data and reports, such as screening volumes and laboratory turnaround times.

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Healthcare certificate/diploma or equivalent relevant clinic experience.
  • Highly accurate, organised and detail-oriented, especially with repetitive tasks.
  • Able to multitask between clinical, operational and administrative responsibilities.
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
  • Willing to work on a 6-day rotating schedule, including weekends.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a clinic, laboratory or health-screening environment.
  • Phlebotomy experience or certification.
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) qualification is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with clinic management systems or electronic medical records (EMR).


Location: Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours: 9:00AM - 6:00PM

Salary Range: RM2,500 - 3,500
