Job Description (JD)

  • Inspect incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Monitor production processes, product quality, hygiene practices, and critical control points to ensure food safety requirements are met
  • Conduct routine quality checks on product weight, appearance, labeling, coding, and packaging
  • Record inspection results and report any non-conformance or quality issues to the relevant department for corrective action
  • Ensure only approved raw materials and finished products are released for production or delivery
  • Maintain accurate QC records, inspection reports, and documentation for traceability purposes
  • Verify cleanliness and sanitation of production areas in compliance with GMP and HACCP requirements
  • Assist in investigating quality issues, customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions
  • Support internal audits, external inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and food safety
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure consistent product quality
  • Perform other quality control duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Control, or related field
  • Experience in QC, preferably in F&B manufacturing; fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
  • Familiar with inspection procedures, quality documentation, and reporting
  • Good attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping
  • Willing to work shifts when required.

Salary Range: Up to RM3k
