Job Description (JD)

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor and inspect electrical installation works including power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, cable routing, cable trays, lighting systems, and grounding/earthing systems.
• Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality including cable installation and termination, panel installation, equipment mounting, and earthing systems.
• Prepare and implement QA/QC documents such as Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), inspection checklists, and quality reports.
• Monitor electrical testing and commissioning activities including cable insulation resistance testing, functional testing of electrical equipment, power system verification, and UPS testing.
• Identify, report, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented and closed.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and maintain project documentation including shop drawings, as-built drawings, inspection records, material submissions, and testing reports.
• Participate in site inspections, quality audits, and project meetings to ensure electrical works meet project quality requirements.
• Support project handover and commissioning activities including final inspection, documentation submission, and client/consultant acceptance.

Job Requirements (JR) 

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical installation, QA/QC, or construction supervision, preferably in data center, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, cable installation and termination, and earthing/grounding systems.
• Familiar with electrical testing and commissioning procedures and QA/QC processes such as ITP, inspection checklists, NCR management, and CAPA implementation.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written); Mandarin is an advantage for coordination with international teams.
• Willing to work at construction project sites and support project-based work environments.

Salary: Up to RM7K
