Job Descriptions
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material issuance, kitting, and shipment.
- Manage and coordinate external warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inventory movement and material availability between warehouse and production sites.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and conduct regular stock audits to meet operational requirements.
- Implement lean warehouse practices to improve material flow and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with production, planning, procurement, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely material availability and delivery performance.
- Manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards within warehouse operations.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, cycle time) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and material handling processes to reduce cost and enhance productivity.
- Handle logistics coordination with freight forwarders, suppliers, and external warehouse service providers for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Utilize ERP/WMS systems for effective warehouse management, inventory visibility, and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of warehouse management experience, preferably within third-party logistics (3PL), contract logistics, or transportation and logistics environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse operations and coordinating with external warehouse service providers.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow management, and logistics processes.
- Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Experience in automated warehouse operations, ASRS, AGV, or warehouse automation solutions will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and people management experience, with the ability to lead warehouse teams and drive operational excellence.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume operational environment. Good communication skills in English; Mandarin will be an added advantage.
