Our client is a Malaysia-based food manufacturing company specializing in bakery and pastry products. The company provides Halal-certified OEM solutions, offering a wide range of products from raw dough to ready-to-serve items. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and food safety, our client supports businesses in the food and hospitality industry by delivering consistent and efficient production solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities in F&B, horeca, retail, and food service sectors Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients (cafés, bakeries, hotels, distributors)
- Promote OEM bakery solutions including frozen dough, par-baked and ready-to-serve products Conduct sales presentations, product sampling, and client visits
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management
- Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, and negotiate pricing and contracts
- Coordinate with production and R&D teams on customer requirements and product customization
- Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional campaigns
- Conduct market research on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline, and customer feedback
Job Requirements (JR)
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in sales & marketing (F&B, bakery, FMCG, or OEM manufacturing preferred)
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset
- Good understanding of F&B or bakery industry is an advantage
- Able to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits
- English and Bahasa Malaysia required Mandarin is an advantage (for dealing with Chinese-speaking clients)
- Personal Attributes Proactive, independent, and results-oriented Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
